Isa Qasimov, head of the “Enterprise Azerbaijan” portal at the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication, held a series of meetings in Uzbekistan. The meetings included Irodakhon Azimova, Head of the Startup Ecosystem and Investment Development Department of Uzbekistan IT Park, Program Manager Madina Zokirova, and other representatives. They discussed mutual cooperation, including the potential of the two countries’ ecosystems.
At a meeting with Professor Odiljon Abdurazzakov, Dean of the “Business School” at the Central Asia University, they exchanged ideas on possible cooperation between the university and the “Enterprise Azerbaijan” portal.
Isa Qasimov also met with Professor Anvar Shernayev, Vice-Rector of Tashkent Chemical Technology Institute. After discussing potential collaboration in technology transfer, he was introduced to innovative construction materials launched by the company “Composite Floor.” Additionally, he became familiar with “Demure Art House,” established by Azerbaijani entrepreneur Shehla Arabova.
In a meeting with Ruslan Imanzade, Founder and Chairman of the Board of the Azerbaijan-Turkey-Uzbekistan Businessmen Association (ATUIAB), they discussed Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan cooperation, as well as organizing joint projects and business meetings to develop relations with Central Asian countries. They specifically agreed on preparing proposals for organizing intellectual services. At the end of the day, with support from ATUIAB, Isa Qasimov met a group of entrepreneurs at the “Yemali” restaurant in Tashkent, established by Azerbaijani businessmen, to discuss business opportunities.
In a meeting with Serdar Salayev, Head of “Ipoteka Bank” in Tashkent, discussions focused on the current situation and prospects of the banking sector, as well as potential cooperation opportunities.
