The next training session on the topic of “Intellectual Property and Legal Regulations” under the international acceleration program “Green and Digital Silk Road” was successfully conducted within the “Startup School 3” project, which was initiated by the “Enterprise Azerbaijan” portal, operated by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication.
The training was conducted by Bilgin Yazlık, CEO of Cappadocia Technopark in Turkey, a partner of the project. During the session, detailed information was provided about patent systems in Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Pakistan, the relevant government bodies, the current legal framework, and practical procedures. Participants also learned about the legal challenges startups may face in these countries and ways to overcome them.
The training emphasized the importance of protecting technology-based projects not only at the idea level but also legally. Real examples of the use of patents, copyrights, and other intellectual property tools were presented. As a result, participants gained practical skills for protecting their innovative solutions in local and international markets, improving competitiveness, and commercializing their ideas.
The “Startup School 3” project gives startup teams the opportunity to succeed by enhancing their competencies in investment opportunities, leadership, team management, the use of digital tools, artificial intelligence, marketing, business strategies, and legal knowledge.
