A meeting was held between the “Enterprise Azerbaijan” portal, operated by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC), and representatives of the US-based “Peachscore” and Qatar-based “Licorne Gulf”.
The meeting was attended by Isa Gasimov, Head of the “Enterprise Azerbaijan” portal; Aydan Huseynzade, Project Manager; Alex Mojtahedi, Founder and CEO of “Peachscore”; and Irina Duisimbekova, Co-Founder of “Licorne Gulf”.
During the meeting, the key areas of activity of the “Enterprise Azerbaijan” portal were highlighted, including initiatives aimed at fostering investment, entrepreneurship, and the development of the startup and innovation ecosystem. Aydan Huseynzade provided an overview of the portal’s activities and ongoing initiatives, with particular emphasis on the “Startup School” project. The current status and upcoming stages of “Startup School 4: Five Continents – 500 Startups” were also discussed.
Alex Mojtahedi presented “Peachscore’s” activities and solutions designed to support the assessment and development of startups, including its online services for evaluating startups’ investment readiness and identifying their growth potential. The company’s role in the startup and innovation ecosystem, as well as its approaches to strengthening connections between entrepreneurs and investors, were also highlighted.
Isa Gasimov subsequently shared his views on the current state of Azerbaijan’s innovation and startup ecosystem, the expansion of cooperation between the public and private sectors, the integration of international best practices into the local ecosystem, and opportunities for Azerbaijani startups to access global markets.
The meeting provided an opportunity for the parties to exchange views on areas of mutual interest and discuss potential cooperation models and joint initiatives. At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties reached a preliminary understanding on further developing cooperation between “Enterprise Azerbaijan” and “Peachscore” within the framework of future projects.
