Mentoring support is being provided to SunTrack Solar Energy Monitoring Company, one of the finalists of Startup School 4: Five Continents, 500 Startups, a global innovation program initiated by the Enterprise Azerbaijan portal, operated by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC).
During a meeting attended by mentor Telman Mustafayev, participants discussed the project’s current stage of development, the challenges it faces, and its needs for the next phase of growth. Drawing on the mentor’s recommendations, the discussion focused on enhancing the technological solution, further developing the business model, and strengthening the project’s investment appeal by taking investors’ interests and expectations into account.
SunTrack is a digital platform designed to detect energy losses and potential faults in solar power systems at an early stage. Using artificial intelligence to analyse data collected from inverters, the platform enables system performance monitoring, the identification of potential issues, and the optimisation of energy production. Its primary objective is to improve the efficiency of solar energy systems, minimise energy losses, and facilitate timely responses to technical issues.
The project has gained valuable experience in developing and refining its technological solution through participation in Startup School 3, the Construction Tech Incubation Project, and various hackathons.
Against the backdrop of ongoing efforts to develop renewable energy infrastructure in Azerbaijan’s liberated territories, SunTrack aims to conduct pilot tests on operational solar energy systems, further refine its technology under real-world conditions, and bring its solution to market with investor support. To achieve these objectives, the startup is seeking collaboration with investors to finance technological development, implement pilot projects, and establish strategic partnerships within the energy sector.
The mentoring support provided under Startup School 4, implemented by the Enterprise Azerbaijan portal, is designed to help startups identify their development needs, refine their business models, assess investment opportunities, and formulate effective market-entry strategies.
