A Training Session Dedicated to Market Entry Opportunities in China Was Held Within the Framework of the "Startup School 4: Five Continents – 500 Startups" Program

The 18th training session of the "Startup School 4: Five Continents – 500 Startups" global innovation program, initiated by the "Enterprise Azerbaijan" portal operated by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC), has been held. Representing the "Silk Road High Tech Park Association" of the People's Republic of China, Zhang Xiaogang met with the participants and delivered a presentation titled "Approaches for Foreign Enterprises to Enter the Chinese Market and Their Pros and Cons" under the module "Business Development through the Chinese Model."

During the training, detailed information was provided regarding the main strategies foreign companies use to enter the Chinese market, the advantages and risks of these approaches, as well as the characteristics of the Chinese business environment and regulatory framework. Simultaneously, models of partnership, joint ventures, and direct investment were discussed, along with the primary challenges international companies face in the Chinese market and ways to overcome them.

Within the framework of the session, participants gained insights into recommendations based on the international expert's practical experience regarding establishing successful business relationships in the Chinese market, principles of cooperation with local partners, and opportunities to access one of the world's largest markets.

It should be noted that the "Startup School 4: Five Continents – 500 Startups" global innovation program is implemented to support the development of the innovation ecosystem, expand startups' access to international knowledge and experience, strengthen the potential of entrepreneurs and innovation initiatives through the participation of international experts, and contribute to the development of the country's investment and innovation potential.
