Another Training Session Dedicated to Business Development in the Chinese Market Was Held Within the Framework of "Startup School 4"

Within the framework of the "Startup School 4: Five Continents – 500 Startups" international program, organized by the "Enterprise Azerbaijan" portal of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC), another online training session has been held.

During the 19th training session of the program, Nelson Ma, a prominent Chinese entrepreneur and Founder of the "Cherry Club" business club, met with the participants and delivered a presentation on "How Tech Companies Can Compete in the Chinese Market" under the module titled "Business Development through the Chinese Model."

During the training, the opportunities that the Chinese market presents for technology companies, the unique characteristics of this market, consumer behaviors, and business culture were comprehensively analyzed. Furthermore, the challenges faced by international technology companies when entering the Chinese market, success factors, and practical approaches to building a competitive advantage were highlighted.

Discussions were conducted on the following topics during the session:

  • Key factors determining the success of technology companies in the Chinese market;

  • Characteristics of Chinese consumer behavior and the business environment;

  • Strategies for developing products and services aligned with the Chinese technology ecosystem;

  • Digital innovations, platform economy, and emerging technology trends;

  • Opportunities for building partnerships and scaling business in the Chinese market.

In the interactive session, participants addressed their questions to the trainer regarding entry into the Chinese market, international cooperation opportunities, and global growth prospects for tech-driven businesses, receiving practical recommendations.

The "Startup School 4: Five Continents – 500 Startups" program aims to bring together entrepreneurs, mentors, and innovation ecosystem representatives from around the world, contributing to the integration of Azerbaijani startups into international markets, the exchange of knowledge and experience, and the establishment of global partnerships, thereby enhancing the country's investment attractiveness.
