The online training phase of the global innovation program “Startup School 4: Five Continents – 500 Startups” implemented by the “Enterprise Azerbaijan” portal of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication has successfully concluded.
A total of 20 sessions were held within the framework of the trainings on 11 modules. Professional mentors from five continents, including entrepreneurs, investors, professors and other ecosystem participants, spoke as experts in the sessions.
The program covered sustainable economy, digitalization, artificial intelligence, leadership and team management, marketing, sales strategies, innovation and product management, intellectual property, business development, investment preparation and other relevant areas.
More than 200 startup projects selected from 15 countries were involved in the online training phase.
In the interactive sessions, participants were provided with theoretical knowledge as well as practical examples of real business situations. The trainings contributed to startups improving their business models, more accurately assessing market opportunities, developing their products and services, formulating sales and marketing strategies, as well as a more prepared approach to the investment process.
Thus, “Startup School 4” played the role of a single platform for startups from different countries in terms of knowledge exchange, communication with international experts, and formation of new cooperation opportunities.
In the next stage of the program, startup teams will be provided with mentor support, taking into account their individual needs and development directions. Within the framework of mentor support, it is planned to identify specific challenges faced by the teams, improve business and product strategies, provide individual advice on market access, sales, marketing, investment, and other areas.
It should be noted that the “Startup School 4” program aims to support the development of startups, strengthen their ties with the international ecosystem, and increase the opportunities for Azerbaijani startups to access global markets.
