EnerStep is an innovative green energy project that captures and converts kinetic energy from footsteps in metro stations into electricity using piezoelectric components. The system aims to power underground lighting, sensors, and digital displays sustainably. By integrating smart monitoring units, EnerStep analyzes energy generation and foot traffic data in real time. This project supports urban sustainability goals by reducing energy waste and promoting renewable energy use. It represents a step forward toward smarter, eco-friendly city infrastructure in Baku’s expanding metro network.
