EnterpriseAzerbaijan.com portal held a training on "How to start a business" at Odlar Yurdu University as a joint project of Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication and the Ministry of Taxes.
Rector of Odlar Yurdu University, Professor Ahmad Valiyev made an introductory speech at the training. Valiyev stressed the importance of education, science and business relations in our country. In this sense, he said, the EnterpriseAzerbaijan portal plays an important role in terms of young people starting a business, employment, technology transfer and investment.
It should be noted that the purpose of the project is to inform students, startups who want to implement new ideas and projects, as well as small and micro entrepreneurs about the legal and practical side of starting a business.
Alakbar Mammadov, Director General of the Department of State Registration and Control over Record-keeping of the Ministry of Taxes provided detailed information to small and micro entrepreneurs, including startups, on the implementation of online state registration of legal entities to start a business in a single procedure.
Oruj Dursunzadeh, a representative of the EnterpriseAzerbaijan.com portal, gave detailed information about the functionality and innovations of the portal, including the opportunities it offers for young entrepreneurs, and ways to access local and foreign markets. He said that the EnterpriseAzerbaijan portal provides free support to the incubation and acceleration of startups. At the same time, O. Dursunzadeh, an international employee of the Enterprise Azerbaijan portal, gave detailed information about the opportunities offered to young people by the British Council's "Creative Spark" project.
EnterpriseAzerbaijan portal manager Ayten Mammadova presented a new picture of young startuper Narmin Farzaliyeva, who took part in the trainings, to the rector of Odlar Yurdu University Ahmad Valiyev.
EnterpriseAzerbaijan.com portal will meet with about 2,000 students at 15 universities of the country and hold educational events on starting a business and a startup. Successful projects of students will be posted on the EnterpriseAzerbaijan.com portal and will be presented to angel, seed and venture investors for funding.
